June was a busy time! Here at Warhammer World we run exciting events where people from all over arrive in our gaming hall for a weekend and play some great games against like minded hobbyists. Our events typically run over one or two days, and it’s tanks, guns and dragons for everyone over a weekend of fun. So without further ado, it’s over to Nick and John from from the Events Team with the first review of four events we ran throughout June 2014.
31st May 2014
John: Regiment of Renown came hot on the heels of a great month of gaming and fun, so expectations were high – and boy did it deliver. Small, fast paced, exciting games of Warhammer Fantasy Battle were the order of the day, with beautifully converted and themed regiments. Bretonnians returning from a crusade in Nehekara, Strigoi ghoulkin warbands and more besides ran rampant over the fields of the Old World. Congratulations to both the overall winner of the event, and this year’s Lord of Renown, Yiaw Chauw, and the winner of the Regiment of Renown award for best army, Andy Cook, with his stunning Dwarf regiment. Check out the photos below!
