Tale of Gamers Challenge: Finale

Six months ago our Warhammer World Staff were challenged to a Tale of Gamers. For those who are new to this term, a Tale of Gamers is organised between a group of friends and the aim is to finish a project over an agreed amount of time. There are no set rules, all the details are left to the individuals taking part, so each Tale of Gamers is unique.

Our store staff started by picking an army they would like to work on for the next 6 months. They decided to set themselves a target to complete roughly 500 points each month of their chosen army, starting with a Hero or Lord and some troops, you can see the start of the challenge here. The Tale of Gamers Challenge has now come to an end, let’s take a look at how the Warhammer World staff have progressed their collections …

These collections were displayed at Warhammer World alongside the Army of the Month competition, with the public voting for their favourites. The winner of the Final stage was Amy March, and she has now acquired the ranking of ‘Emperor’.

The overall winner for our Tale of Gamers Challenge is Amy march (Emperor of the Warhammer World store and Master Hobbyist) for her Orcs and Goblin Army.

Our staff are now conjuring up a plan for their next staff competition, so make sure you keep an eye on the Warhammer World website for news on future competitions which you can enter. Most of our staff are already working on their Armies on Parade entries.
