It’s Psyker Saturday this week at the Black Library store as Ahriman twists the warp to appear on the shelves!
Ahriman is one of the traitor legions’ most powerful sorcerers. Born on Terra before the days of the Horus Heresy, he is also one of the oldest and most dangerous members of Abaddon the Despoiler’s circle of allies. However, he is also potentially one of the most tragic characters of the 40k universe. This week’s releases show us another side to the ‘beggar thief of secrets’ as we explore his motivations and work to gather the knowledge required to perform the dangerous ritual to break the Rubric that bears his name.
Ahriman: Unchanged is the final part of John French’s fantastic Ahriman series. Following the events of Ahriman: Exile and Ahriman: Sorcerer, this book sees Ahriman after so many years and sacrifices finally ready to achieve the purpose he set out on. What is this goal? Nothing less than unbinding the Rubric that doomed the Thousand Sons to their existence as lifeless dust and souls trapped within their armour.
Can Ahriman, after all the lies, betrayals and deceit he has employed in his quest for the knowledge required, redeem himself and his cursed legion? Find out in this fantastic novel available at The Black Library store.
Also released this week in hardback is Ahriman: Exodus. A collection of stories previously only available as E-books and Audios. The book primarily follows Ctesias ‘the twice dead’, one of Ahriman’s servants and allies, in tales that intertwine the events of the Ahriman series and see the sorcerer though the eyes of his servants. The books also features the appearance of none other than the first Daemon Prince of Chaos, Be’Lakor. What connections does he have with Ahriman? What do other servants of Ahriman think of him, and what value does he hold for them? Why would anyone follow Ahriman to their demise …twice? Find out in this collection of fascinating insights into the servitude of one of the most powerful Chaos Lords.
Also available at The Black Library are a limited number of the Ahriman: Unchanged Gallery Print. This fantastic artwork features the sorcerer as he appears on the cover of Ahriman: Unchanged. Limited to 75 and individually numbered this is sure to sell out fast so grab it before it disappears into the Webway!
