Season of War
This Summer is a time for You to change the future of Age of Sigmar! Throughout the next few weeks every game of Age of Sigmar you play here at Warhammer World (whether you are just coming down for a quick game or coming to our dedicated Season of War days on Wednesdays and Fridays) will count towards the massive Season of War global campaign. This campaign will alter the course of Age of Sigmar in future releases. So make sure you come speak to our staff so we can tell you more about this awesome event.
Warhammer World Store: The General’s Handbook.
For over a year now the Mortal Realms have been torn asunder with the Realmgate Wars. Now we have an amazing new resource to help guide your battles…The General’s Handbook.
An essential, complete toolkit of rules that you and your gaming group can use in any way you like, the General’s Handbook expands upon the rules of Warhammer Age of Sigmar to create a huge array of different gaming styles to suit any tastes, including Narrative Play, Open play and Matched Play.
Forge World Store: Shar’tor the Executioner
Shar’tor the Executioner is a malevolent warrior-priest of Hashut. This trampling bull centaur carries the terrifying Darktide Axe, a cruel weapon steeped in untold years of slaughter upon which burn vile runes of hatred and malice. Shar’tor also wears Hashut’s sacred Mask of the Executioner, marking him as his dark god’s favoured headsmen, empowered to call out his god’s name with such a malign force, that the sound alone is enough to kill the weak of heart, just as it fills those loyal to Hashut with unholy wrath.
Black Library Store: Mortarch of Night
Long ago, Sigmar numbered Nagash among his allies, but the Master of Death betrayed the God-King, causing the great pantheon of gods to crumble as the Age of Chaos began. Now, Sigmar seeks to reform his ancient alliegiances – Tarsus Bull-Heart, Lord-Celestant of the Hallowed Knights, has been sent to the Vales of Sorrows with his Warrior Chamber to treat with the Great Necromancer. The Stormcast Eternals soon discover that Shyish is an unforgiving realm, and they are forced to accept aid from a vampire of dubious provenance, one whose name resonates throughout history: Manfred von Carstein. Tarsus and his Lord-Relictor Ramus both fear that there is more to their new guide than meets the eye, for it is well known that the dead cannot be trusted…
As you can see we have gone a little Age of Sigmar mad here at Warhammer World and we are hard at work painting up our own factions to wage war in the Season of War. Be sure to come down this week and tell us what you are working on, or better yet bring it with you with your hobby supplies and settle down onto our hobby bar and get those finishing touches done.
