Guest Display: Paul Billinghurst’s Genestealer Cult

Warhammer World has regularly changing Guest Displays, showcasing the amazing personal projects created by fans of the hobby, and we now have three great Armies on Parade displays with us until early January.

We’re digging into each of them in a bit more detail, having started with Adam Walker’s Dark Eldar last week, and looking at Paul Billinghurst’s Genestealer Cult this week.

Paul’s display was winner of third place at Warhammer World’s Armies on Parade day, and having waited for Genestealer Cults since he was a teenager, Paul was very happy to see them rolling out to war!

The miniatures are crisp and cleanly painted with great attention to detail, and touches of humour like the Genestealer hiding in the shadows.

Paul made clever use of Citadel Scenery kits for the board, and they’re still all in separate parts, so they can be taken from the display and used in different set ups for gaming. The area has certainly been taken over in honour of the Four Armed Emperor, with spray-painted tags showing the allegiance of the new cultists!

Come and see this great display for yourself at the Warhammer World Exhibition, along with the thousands of other miniatures, and over 20 specially built dioramas.
