Guest Display: Dane Richards’ Seraphon

From the depths of jungle caves, something is treading through the lush foliage…

Dane Richards’ Seraphon Armies on Parade display is the latest addition to Warhammer World’s regularly changing Guest Displays, which showcase fantastic personal projects created by fans of the hobby.

When Dane came back to the hobby around 2 years ago, he started with Seraphon, as they were that one army he always wanted but never got around to in his teens. Bitten by the painting bug, Dane much spent pretty every evening working on his new miniatures and finished them in about 6 weeks.

The board was a longer process, taking around 6/7 months on and off.  Although using foam made it quick to shape the cliffs and caves, it created a problem for the pool of water at the base of the waterfall, as initially the foam soaked up all of the resin!

A great balance of miniatures and scenery, this is an Armies on Parade board which uses rising levels to show off the variety of miniatures, while setting them in an evocative landscape.

Come and see this great display for yourself at the Warhammer World Exhibition before it leaves us in May – And see all of the other Guest Displays, thousands of our professionally painted miniatures, and over 20 specially built dioramas.
