Golden Demon: Space Marines Review

Slayer Sword winner Gareth Nicholas proudly lifts his well deserved prize.

On Sunday 18th October at the Warhammer 40,000 Open Day, we played host to the next exciting Golden Demon event, this time focusing on the mighty Adeptus Astartes themselves; the Space Marines.

With six different categories and a separate staff competition, there were hundreds of entries on display and the quality was exceptional. Such was the quality that our judges, sculptor Darren Latham, ‘Eavy Metal Painter Chris Innes and regular Chief Judge Alan Merritt had a hard time picking the winners. But decide they did and the crowd gathered around at the end of the day to see the winners awarded their coveted Golden Demon trophies.

So, without further ado, here are the winning entries from Golden Demon: Space Marines.

The Staff Category was decided via a public vote; each visitor to the Open Day had a chance to vote for their favourite.

That’s all for now, folks- look out for the next Golden Demon event!
