23rd – 24th April 2016
Warhammer World, Nottingham
Throne of Skulls is a gaming event all about fun, friendly battles in a relaxed atmosphere. You’ll get to play some great games against other like-minded players in the unique atmosphere of the spectacular Warhammer World Event Hall.
No matter whether you’re a seasoned player or if this will be your first step into playing our games, the focus for this event is on camaraderie and playing in the spirit of the game; that is to say non-competitive and fair play are the order of the day.
The Clash of Empires
The Mortal Realms have been driven into the bloodiest age of battle ever seen. The Forces of Chaos are at the zenith of their power, their need to sate their thirst for blood and murder having taken over their minds. Gore-clad killers stalk every realm, from the sulphurous plains of Aqshy to the gates of the grave-cold netherworlds. Daemons frolic and stomp through ravaged battlefields while armoured brutes force noble men to commit acts of violence and savagery, all in the name of the Dark Gods.
The hordes of Chaos consider their dominion all but complete, their prey cast down and scattered without hope of victory. Yet as Sigmar’s Storm breaks across the Mortal Realms, they will be proved wrong indeed. With their allies, the Stormcast Eternals have strength enough to destroy the powers of Chaos, tear down their vile works and even resist the malice of the Dark Gods.
It is into this world of battle that you must now journey, to take your place in the Great Battle. Will you join with the Warriors of Chaos or end their reign of terror? It is time to make your choice and march to war in the great Clash of Empires.
